Topic: Strategies For Distance and In-Class Learning
The speakers will cover ABA basics to help caregivers learn how problem behaviors are evaluated and responded to by behavioral professionals. Resources and strategies to promote success with distance learning, homeschool, and assignment completion will be covered to allow families the opportunity to take the frustration out of their children's education.
Guest Speakers: Megan Sprague, MS, BCBA, Clinical Director; and Kelsey McCarthy, MA, BCBA, Clinical Supervisor, Hope Comprehensive Center for Development
Megan is the Clinical Director of ABA for Hope Comprehensive Center for Development and Hope Speech and Language Therapy. Megan received her Bachelors Degree in Family Studies and Human Development with a minor in Counseling in Special Education from the University of Arizona and her Masters of Science in Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas. With over 15 years in the field, Megan is proud to be leading the amazing team at Hope.
Kelsey is a BCBA and has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for over 6 years. She began her career providing 1:1 support in home for toddlers and young children with Autism and other special needs and has since then expanded her experience to older children, teens, and young adults across settings such as daycare, school, and community events. She has a niche interest in teaching group social skills and generalizing novel skills to community settings.To learm more information about Hope Comprehensive Center for Development.
