NFAR PARENT'S GROUP
Zoom Virtual Meeting
Wednesday, Sep 21, 2022
6:30 - 7:30 pm

Parents - please join us for September's Meeting as we learn from guest speakers and exchange ideas - all from the comfort of your home. All are welcome!

September Topic: Exploring the Who, What, When, and Why of effective self-management interventions.

By systematically teaching children how to engage in more pro-social behaviors they are able to better access their learning and develop stronger relationships with others -- ultimately, leading to a better quality of life.  This practical session will explore the benefits of implementing self-monitoring and motivational systems at home for individuals of various ages and developmental levels. We'll share practical tools and tips that can be implemented immediately.  Great workshop for individuals and/or teams (parents and in-home behavior analysts!)

Guest Speakers: Dr. Katie Croce & Jamie Salter, Ed.S., BCBA

Jamie & Katie developed the Self & Match System in 2004 and since that time they have presented internationally at numerous conventions and school districts. Additionally, they have been guest lecturers at a variety of other organizations including, but not limited to: universities, nonpublic schools, nonpublic agencies, and parent groups.
