July Topic: The Umbrella of Autism and Coexisting Diagnoses

What are co-existing conditions found with autism? What to do if you suspect co-exisitng conditions? This presentation with Q/A is on autism and coexisting diagnoses found in children and teens,  how to recognize the signs and symptom, strategies to assist your child, and where to go for help.

Guest Speakers:

Kelsey McCarthy is a BCBA and has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for over 6 years. She began her career providing 1:1 support in home for toddlers and young children with Autism and other special needs and has since then expanded her experience to older children, teens, and young adults across settings such as daycare, school, and community events. She has a niche interest in teaching group social skills and generalizing novel skills to community settings. 

Megan Sprague, MS, BCBA is the Clinical Director of ABA for Hope Comprehensive Center for Development. Megan received her Bachelors Degree in Family Studies and Human Development with a minor in Counseling in Special Education from the University of Arizona and her Masters of Science in Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas. With over 15 years in the field, Megan is proud to be leading the amazing team at Hope.

  • Please RSVP by no later than Jul 21st by 4:00 pm on Eventbrite
  • On meeting day, we will send those that have RSVP'd an email with a link to join the meeting on Zoom. (Email sent by 10:00 am for early RSVPs and another at 5:00 pm.)
  • Join the meeting on Zoom at 6:30 pm. The guest speaker will start shortly.
  • All interested family members welcome!
