February Topic: "Psychotherapy and Autism?  Let’s Talk About It!"

Can my son or daughter benefit from psychotherapy?

How does this work for younger children or teens/ young adults that can’t express themselves?

We’ll discuss these things and more!

Nearly all of our kids, at all levels of development, tell us what is bothering them often through actions.  We'll discuss how to read and respond to the signals our kids give us, so that as parents, we can help them to feel more calm and connected and able to communicate, solve problems, and learn.

Guest Speaker: Joshua D Feder, MD, Child and Family Psychiatry

Dr. Joshua Feder is a child and family psychiatrist in Solana Beach, California, an Associate Clinical Professor at University of California at San Diego School of Medicine, and an Adjunct Professor at Fielding Graduate University.  He is a Father of a young man on the autism spectrum.
