Annually, NFAR provides funding for the research and development of programs that help children with autism. Programs range from early identification and treatment of autism spectrum disorder to preparation for a smooth transition into adulthood.

This past December, NFAR awarded K.I.D.S. Therapy Associates Inc. a Community Project Grant entitled “Summer Sports Camp for All” to provide funding for the supervision, training and accommodations for up to 40 campers with autism to attend the Kids Games Sports Camp.
NFAR Funds CARD’s Create Opportunities to Meet Peers and Advance Social Skills study.

Last month, NFAR awarded a Community Project Grant to the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) research and development department to fund their Creating Opportunities to Meet Peers and Advance Social Skills (COMPASS) study.
NFAR is pleased to announce our 2011/2012 Community Project grantees, all of which provide increased learning and treatment opportunities for local children with autism and their families.
