Governor Brown Signs for Autism Insurance Coverage
In a last minute victory for California families impacted by autism, Governor Brown signed SB 946 into law. SB 946 mandates that health insurance in California cover behavioral health treatments for Autism, PDD and Asperger’s Syndrome beginning July 1 of next year.
