Each year, NFAR assists teachers and other professionals in San Diego County with funding of educational tools and materials needed to educate children with autism in San Diego County.
NFAR Awards 62 San Diego Educators with Annual Teachers Grant Program
Each year, NFAR awards grant funding to San Diego educators to help provide for the specialized educational needs of their students with autism. Last week, we announced the 62 San Diego Autism Teachers Grant recipients for the 2012/2013 school year.

Last September, we received two FLIP cameras through an NFAR Autism Teachers Grant, which has helped create a momentum for video modeling within our department and helped support our efforts to provide “best practice” communication interventions for our students with autism.
Sometimes Even Small Changes Can Make a Big Difference for Children with Autism
NFAR’s Teachers Grant Program provides an opportunity each year for educators working with children diagnosed with autism. Individual teachers are encouraged to apply for grants to fund specialized programs, materials, and equipment that they would otherwise not be able to afford.
