Annually, NFAR provides funding for the research and development of programs that help children with autism. Programs range from early identification and treatment of autism spectrum disorder to preparation for a smooth transition into adulthood.

Earlier this month, our son Michael (18 years) began the week-long “Lose the Training Wheels” bike camp hosted by Crimson Research & Treatment Center. But, because our son had never been able to ride a bike, we almost didn’t sign up and we were a bit skeptical.
NFAR Provides Funding to Ensure “Summer Sports Camp for All”
This past December, NFAR awarded K.I.D.S. Therapy Associates Inc. a Community Project Grant entitled “Summer Sports Camp for All” to provide funding for the supervision, training and accommodations for up to 40 campers with autism to attend the Kids Games Sports Camp.
