Here’s the Scoop: To celebrate 20 years of scooping euphoric ice cream, Ben & Jerry’s Seaport Village is bringing the world of competitive eating to San Diego.
20 Teams Tackle 20 Scoop Sundaes…all to try and raise money in support of NFAR’s local efforts to make a difference for thousands of San Diego children with autism.

Build your team and compete against other local businesses for the coveted VERMONSTER Crown
*Entry fee per team is a tax deductible $250, which will benefit NFAR. Teams are encouraged to try and raise $1,000 for this cause.
The Sweet Rewards
- The team that can reach the very bottom of their VERMONSTER Sundae* in the fastest time will win a catered Sundae party for 100 people.
- The top 3 teams will win autographed Ben & Jerry’s memorabilia and goodies.
- The top fundraising team will be awarded with a year of free ice cream - that’s one cone a week for each team member!
- Each participant will receive a commemorative 20th Anniversary 20/20/20 VERMONSTER Challenge t-shirt. Plus, we’ll be sure to share all the fun action photos.
Don’t Forget to Bring Your Entourage
Fans are encouraged to come cheer on your team’s ice cream devouring skills. Plus, all guests that want to indulge their own sweet tooth can do so without guilt because Ben & Jerry’s will also donate 20% of the day’s sales to NFAR.
