For a second year, Ben & Jerry's Seaport Village hosted Free Cone Day, raising nearly $3,000 to help NFAR make a difference for children with autism in San Diego.
NFAR sends a heartfelt THANK YOU to the incredible staff at Ben & Jerry's, our guest scoopers and all the heroic volunteers from San Diego Fire-Rescue (especially Fire Chief Javier Mainar, Lifeguard Chief Rick Wurts and Deputy Fire Chief Lorraine Hutchinson) who worked tirelessly to raise autism awareness, one cone at a time.
Celebrity guest scoopers included Padres 2nd baseman Orlando Hudson, Jennifer White and Mike O'Brian from SOPHIE 103.7, Fox 5's Perette Godwin and Kimberly King from CBS 8.
