We would like to extend a very special THANK YOU to everyone that came out in support of those with autism in our community. More than 5,600 people attended this year's event, making it our largest and most successful Race yet!
As you know, funds raised by the San Diego Race for Autism are helping make an immediate impact for children with autism in our community by:
- creating and expanding programs
- funding studies to improve treatment
- promoting early identification and outreach to underserved populations
- providing for the needs of students with autism at the classroom level
We are sincerely grateful to all the teams, team captains, sponsors, volunteers, donors and racers who make NFAR's efforts possible just with your participation and commitment.
I am always so moved by the obvious show of support from friends, family members, employers, colleagues and educators for children with autism and their families. The best part of Race Day for me is the opportunity to bring everyone together to celebrate and share our vision of a brighter future ahead.
