Join NFAR at the San Diego premiere of Clay Marzo: Just Add Water

Screening as part of the 7th annual San Diego Film Festival, the documentary Just Add Water is an epic film that dives beneath the surface of one of the most gifted and creative surfers in the world, 19 year-old Clay Marzo. The film gives a never-before-seen look at Clay's mind-blowing skills in the water and the challenges he faces on land as a result of Asperger's Syndrome.

Mixing awe-inspiring footage of Clay in action in the surf and insightful interviews with Clay, his family and his peers (including some of surfing's biggest names like Kelly Slater), the film paints a loving portrait of an athlete who excels because of his diagnosis.

NFAR will be on hand to introduce the filmmakers, answer audience questions about autism and Asperger's, and enjoy this in-depth look at an athlete who is making waves - both in his profession and his private life.

The film screens Saturday, September 27 at 3 p.m. at the Gaslamp Theatre downtown.
